Under the act 2018 teaching the Holy Quran as a compulsory subject it is approved by the Govt of Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board Lahore. Under act XIV of 2023 all institutes, boards, schools, and colleges have been directed to start the education of Holy Quran from class 1 to class 12 in the upcoming academic session 2023 Education of Holy Quran is Compulsory from 1 to 12th Class (PCTBL) notification hereby attached.
Education of the Holy Quran is Compulsory from 1 to 12th Class Para Distribution
Govt of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board Lahore has announced the division of all para of the Holy Quran as mentioned below. In the light of Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board in 83rd meeting 23/06/2022.
In the meeting regarding the scheme of studying the education of the Holy Quran Nazira Quran Majeed recitation of Quran from 1st class to 5th class.
In the meeting regarding the scheme of study, the education of the Holy Quran translation of Holy Quran Majeed in the Urdu language is compulsory from the 6th class to the 11th class.
Holy Quran as compulsory subject period and Marks
Here I will explain to you the period and schedule of all 30 para of the Holy Quran. There will be 3 periods and 50 marks for each class from 1 to 5.
The last Surah of the Holy Quran and Qurani Qaida will be taught to only 1st class.
Para no 1 and para no 2 will be taught to 2nd class.
Para no 3 and para no 8 will be taught to the 3rd class.
Para no 9 and para no 18 will be taught to the 4th class.
And Para no 19 and para no 30 will be taught to the 5th class.

Further in Class six the translation of the Holy Quran of para 1 and 2 will be taught to the class 6th.
The translation of the Holy Quran of para 3 to 5 will be taught to class 7th.
The translation of the Holy Quran of para 6 to 9 will be taught to class 8th.
The translation of the Holy Quran of para 10 to 16 will be taught to class 9th.
The translation of the Holy Quran of para 17 to 23 will be taught to class 10th.
The translation of the Holy Quran of para 23 to 30 will be taught to class 11th.
