عن أبي هريرة, قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فَتْحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَغَلُقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ، وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِينَ

بے زبانوں کو جب وہ زبان دیتا ہے پڑھنے کو پھر وہ قرآن دیتا ہے کیا
بخشنے پر آئے جب امت کے گناہوں کو گناہگاروں کو رمضان دیتا ہے
یا اللہ تجھے آنے والے اس رمضان المبارک کی رحمتوں کا واسطہ ہمارے گھروں میں خوشحالی پیدا کر دے اور یہ با برکت مہینہ خیر وعافیت کے ساتھ نصیب فرما (آمین)

ماہ رمضان کی فضیلت
اور حضرت ابو ہریرہ ڈاراوی ہیں کہ رسول کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ۔ جس شخص نے ایمان کے ساتھ (یعنی شریعت کے ساتھ رمضان کا اعتقادر کھتے ہوئے ) اور طلب ثوب کی خاطر ( یعنی کسی خوف یار یاء کے طور پر نہیں بلکہ خالصتہ اللہ ) رمضان کا روازہ رکھا تو اس کے وہ گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے جو اس نے پہلے کئے تھے نیز جو شخص ایمان کے ساتھ اور طلب ثواب کی خاطر رمضان میں کھڑا ہوا تو اس کے وہ گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے جو پہلے کئے تھے اس طرح جا شخص شب قدر میں ایمان کے ساتھ (یعنی شب قدر کی حقیقت کا ایمان و اعتقادر کھتے ہوئے) اور طلب ثواب کی خاطر کھڑا ہوا تو اس کے وہ گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے، جو اس نے پہلے کئے تھے ۔ (بخاری) دعاؤں کا طلبگار : میاں شہر اورضا۔
